Ponting Engineering Consultants Ltd is a specialist product design & contract manufacturing company with a focus on electrical, electronic and moulded products. We are a family run business with over 45 years of experience in the electric vehicle accessories, healthcare, lighting and audio industries in particular.
We take initial product ideas from conception through to prototype and then onto manufacturing. We also work with existing products and are very experienced at providing solutions to engineering and manufacturing problems and updating products to incorporate new industry standards.
Based in Ongar, Essex, Ponting Engineering is able to design, test, manufacture and assemble simple low component, non-electronic products through to highly specialised electronic, mechanical and electrical equipment. We always look for ways to improve quality, reliability, and assembly times by value engineering products to reduce component cost and / or count whilst keeping a close eye on component shortages and future availability.
